Last Friday the 28th of August was the Cancer Council's Daffodil Day. This is a special day to raise funds for scientists (like Professor Melissa!) do to research about how to cure cancer. We celebrated this research by making our own paper daffodils, to show others we care about curing cancer. Almost everyone in our class said that they knew someone who has had cancer, which is very sad.
